A perfect biodegradable, chemicals-free growing medium for small seeds into Micro-Greens. The napkin lining helps the seeds to anchor their roots and ensures steady growth without the risk of drowning or drying-up seeds. For the best result cover the sprouter with a lid on the beginning of seed germination.
Vegware unbleached napkins are probably the most eco-friendly napkins in the UK. They are unbleached and are made in the UK from recycled UK fibre.
Growing Micro-Greens from small seeds like Cress, Broccoli, Mustard or Alfalfa:
1. Fit one compostable napkin into the GAIA clay tray and moisten it.
2. Sprinkle an even level of soaked seeds on the surface of the moisten napkin. Do not use too many seeds.
3. Fill the GAIA sprouter glazed base with water and stack the tray on the top. Place in a light area (e.g. windowsill) and add water when dry.
4. Once the Micro-Greens are grown, use the scissors to harvest the plants.
